Synopsis
Perkembangan sektor agribisnis pada era globalisasi dan transformasi digital menuntut adanya perubahan paradigma dalam pengelolaan pertanian. Agribisnis tidak lagi dipandang semata sebagai kegiatan produksi di tingkat petani, tetapi sebagai suatu sistem yang terintegrasi mulai dari penyediaan sarana produksi (hulu), kegiatan budidaya, pengolahan hasil, pemasaran, hingga distribusi kepada konsumen akhir (hilir). Keberhasilan pembangunan agribisnis modern sangat ditentukan oleh kemampuan seluruh pelaku usaha dalam mengelola rantai nilai secara efisien, inovatif, berkelanjutan, dan berorientasi pasar.
Buku ini disusun untuk memberikan pemahaman yang komprehensif mengenai konsep, prinsip, serta implementasi agribisnis modern yang terintegrasi.
Pembahasan diawali dengan pengenalan sistem agribisnis modern dan keterkaitan antar subsistem agribisnis, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan kajian mengenai inovasi manajemen, pemasaran agribisnis, manajemen rantai nilai, revitalisasi agroindustri, hingga perdagangan internasional komoditas pertanian. Selain itu, buku ini juga menyoroti peran teknologi digital, transformasi Agriculture 4.0, hilirisasi produk pertanian, serta pentingnya pembangunan agribisnis yang berkelanjutan dalam menghadapi tantangan global.
