Synopsis

Pulau Madura selama ini identik dengan lahan kering, keterbatasan air, tingkat risiko pertanian yang tinggi, serta produktivitas yang relatif rendah dibandingkan wilayah lain di Jawa Timur. Namun di balik berbagai keterbatasan tersebut, tersimpan kekuatan besar berupa kemampuan adaptasi petani, modal sosial masyarakat, komoditas strategis, dan sistem agribisnis yang terus bertahan dalam tekanan perubahan lingkungan dan ekonomi.

Buku “MENANAM HARAPAN DI LAHAN KERING DAN PESISIR MADURA” menghadirkan kajian komprehensif mengenai dinamika agribisnis di wilayah lahan kering dan pesisir Madura. Buku ini tidak hanya membahas persoalan produktivitas dan efisiensi usahatani, tetapi juga mengupas secara mendalam hubungan antara risiko, resiliensi, daya saing, ketahanan pangan, keberlanjutan, hingga strategi transformasi agribisnis berbasis pendekatan integratif.

Berbasis kajian empiris, hasil penelitian lapangan, serta pendekatan multidisiplin, buku ini menjelaskan bagaimana: Petani Madura mengelola keterbatasan sumber daya, Menghadapi ketidakpastian iklim, Bertahan dalam fluktuasi pasar, dan Membangun strategi adaptasi dalam sistem pertanian yang penuh risiko.
