Synopsis
Buku “Evaluasi Penyuluhan: Program, Metodologi dan Studi Kasus” merupakan panduan komprehensif yang membahas secara sistematis tentang bagaimana merancang, melaksanakan, dan memanfaatkan evaluasi dalam program penyuluhan, khususnya di sektor pertanian. Buku ini diawali dengan pembahasan mengenai pentingnya evaluasi program penyuluhan dalam menjamin efektivitas, efisiensi, relevansi, dan dampak program terhadap petani sebagai penerima manfaat utama. Disajikan pula berbagai konsep dasar evaluasi, tujuan evaluasi, jenis-jenis evaluasi (formatif, sumatif, proses, dan hasil), serta model-model evaluasi yang banyak digunakan seperti CIPP, Kirkpatrick, Logic Framework, dan Utilization-Focused Evaluation.
Selanjutnya, buku ini mengupas secara mendalam aspek metodologis evaluasi, mulai dari perencanaan evaluasi, perumusan pertanyaan evaluasi, penentuan indikator keberhasilan, hingga pemilihan desain evaluasi seperti eksperimental, non-eksperimental, longitudinal, dan quasi-eksperimental. Pembaca juga dibekali dengan teknik pengumpulan data kuantitatif dan kualitatif, strategi analisis data, serta cara menyusun laporan evaluasi yang komunikatif dan berbasis bukti.
